Just had my first look and I am impressed with how well they have presented platfom.

The POET Optical Interposer uses a version of active devices that are constructed to allow them to be “flip-chipped” onto the surface of the Interposer.  Importantly, this design allows a wide variety of active devices available from many sources to be integrated onto the POET Optical Interposer platform.  This feature provides maximum flexibility for device designers to use the POET Optical Interposer for a wide variety of applications.

= mix and match off the shelf elements to build whatever optical engine the customers require.

Our understanding of what the POET platform is appears to be completely supported by the update. Very interesting that they have also built multi-mode CWDM filters.

Out-of-plane and in-plane configurations for detection enabled to  expand applications.

Seems they are covering all bases for all optical integration needs all in a CMOS friendly low cost, low loss platform.
