Lumenge, if I may add to Oz's great work.  The 100G transceiver market is extremely competitive and as DL has previously commented, current 100G suppliers are in "pain" due to ever shrinking margins.  This would seem like a great starting place for the OI, and was (I believe) the initial target save for two important things: 1) incredible pull from a tier1 essentially compelling Poet to move to 400G immediately, and 2) it's much easier for a small company to establish a leadership position in the emerging market (400G) than it is to displace incumbents in a mature market (100G).

However, since 100G will continue to be ubiquitous for several years to come while 400G takes hold, Poet will no doubt go back to the 100G solution as soon as they are able to help reduce 100G transceiver costs further, piling even more pressure on the competition.  So, will the price go from $100-150 to below $100 as a result (<$1/G)?  This will be a lower margin play, but with continued high volume expected in the 100G market for the next several years, a great opportunity to further establish the company as a force in the industry. IMO
