Very true, unfortunately! I would have loved some additional sentences, all beginning with “This is important, because …”, “This enables …”, or “For example …” etc., in particular in addition to the six improvents at the top. Might have been helpful to understand what “the latest generation of low-loss Mach-Zehnder Interferometry (“MZI”)-based multiplexers embedded in the waveguides” really means, or better: what the advantages of these multiplexers are, for example in terms of speed, bandwith, power consumption, durability, range of environmental conditions, or whatever.

Or take Vivek Rajgarhia’s quote telling us resp. the market that the OI’s CMOS compatibily opens up a variety of applications to POET that are simply not available using other integration approaches seen in the market today”: Yeah, that’s great, but why the heck doesn’t he give us a concrete example of what such an application might be?
