Rainer, that is absolutely not true that it takes the same effort with your 10% example. The lower the price the bigger the moves historically, with of course exceptions and some rare examples such as GME which had extraordinary circumstances at play.

If what you said was true the whole attractiveness of penny stocks to many investors wouldn't exist in the first place. It is absolutely less effort to see a 1 cent gain from .10 to .11 than it is from $100 to $110. In fact when a dormant penny stock wakes up with positive news its not uncommon to see it jump from .10 to .15 or even .20 in one day. There are just so many more stops along the way between $100 and $110 and stocks at that price are "generally" less volatile naturally due to their fundamentals. At the extreme case a .01 SP can move easily to .02 or .03 in one trade representing a 100-200% gain. The same move for a $100 stock would likely end up taking hundreds if not thousands of more trades to move that much which to me implies much more effort to move the same percentage. This premise is why even though the math is the same, in reality the lower the price the bigger the moves, the more extreme are the gains and losses. History in the markets backs that up along wth the overall attractiveness of lower share prices for increased volatility and flexibility with the increased number of shares you own. If you have one share at $2000 SP its a lot harder to sell half! Your options are reduced slightly.

Regardless, we should continue to hope POET can reach as high a level as possible before a reverse split occurs for the reasons mentioned above and it seems like we are on that path currently. That is something we can probably all agree on.
