Why wouldn't the institutions take your suggestion and tithe? they could give up a tiny fraction of their future profits by aggressively purchasing shares from retail shareholders that are holding on to them tightly. Sometimes the big guys should be the ones to put their greed and ego in check, especially when the small guys did all the original legwork and discovery.
