I would say yes to that. Anytime you have uncertainty in the market or world events it creates a bit of fear or apprehension. If there were to be an attack by China on Tawain it would effect more than just the US. So hopefully some allies or other pressures could help thwart such an event. 

Although a very real possibility  I'm more concerned about a major player taking a takeover bid at Poet. In my point of view Poet can't get into production fast enough. The 400g TX/RX should really garner some attention.Lets just hope its not the wrong kind. At least not yet and at these levels.
