So LWLG needs an extremely low temperature (below 100'C) process for hermetic sealing to avoid the gold box. Give that some thought. Does not impact POET in the least other than to confirm how sensitive the polymer is to temperature rise. Plastic deformation temperature limits and lifetime of the organic polymer create a reliability concern that will need to be proven before POET will give any consideration to apply into a POET optical interposer design. The juice is not worth the squeeze at this time.
