It was my understanding that the big players like Marvell and Arista want 200G per lane so they use less components (lasers modulators and pd's, etc) 

Also another key advantage is they want it multiplexed (cwdm) and in fr4 which Poet is focused on.

I believe they have access to the Lumentum 200G per lane lasers with the EAM modulators built in, so we just need Suresh, James Lee and Dr Mo to do their thing with the interposer and integrate these new lasers on there and boom, we can play in the arena that everyone is trying to access.

We also just found out from FJ that Mitsubishi is making lasers with the same performance and modulators, so we have a second supply source if needed.
