The abrupt material increase in volume Friday and the crazy volume today keep telling me some sort of word or recommendstion hit the internet on Thursday evening or before open on Friday.

Very interesting, but still a guessing game. The cup and handle is playing out, but it doesn't start like the 100 meter dash, it's more of a 5000 meter pace.
