I honestly agree with you, when you're in another country you'd better play by their rules, or else....and 500lbs of narcotics is going to get you in big trouble in a lot of places.
Nevertheless, politics is driving this potential execution, and the Chinese are not afraid to do it. And that was my point...if Trudeau is doing the American bidding then he can/should expect backlash, and that is now well proven out. So who's to blame, since without Canada picking up Wanzhou, Schellenberg likely lives.
And, of course, that doesn't even mention the potential harm it has done to countless Canadian firms trying to do business in China, everyone them likely having a red flag attached to it now (not a good, communist red flag either).
Trudeau has done nothing positive in this entire matter, and made things a lot worse for a lot of Canadians...he better smarten up quickly.
