Chester F. Millar, Chairman, Director

Mr. Millar is a pioneer of heap leaching gold production and of the large-scale bulk mining methods used for mining low-grade gold deposits in the Western United States. Under his assistance, Afton Mines (1968-1973), Glamis Gold Limited and Eldorado Gold Corporation matured from junior exploration and early production companies into substantial gold producers. Mr. Millar served as Chairman of Glamis Limited from 1985 to 1998, Chairman of Eldorado Gold Corporation from 1992 to 1994 and Chairman of Alamos Gold Inc. from 1996 to 2003. He recently retired as Chairman and Director of Castle Gold Corp.



Gary Freeman, Director and President & CEO

Gary Freeman is the President & CEO of Pediment Exploration Ltd. Mr. Freeman is a Vancouver based entrepreneur who held a number of Executive positions and has been instrumental in financing, marketing and shareholder relations' capacities with junior exploration companies . He has over 23 years of valuable experience in the industry by starting out to study fundraising, leadership & management and the Canadian Securities Course which subsequently led him to spent time and gain his experience in the Brokerage industry with C.M. Oliver. Prior to accepting a commitment to Pediment, Mr. Freeman successfully prepared Wealth Minerals Ltd. for development into an established junior exploration company.



Melvin Herdrick, Director and VP Exploration

Mel is the Hermosillo Mexico based geologist and principal of Minera Pitalla SA de CV, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Pediment. Mr. Herdrick had a long and distinguished career with Phelps Dodge, including a long tenure as the head of exploration for Mexico. Mel formed Pitalla in order to pursue the acquisition and exploration of a number of projects in northwest Mexico. Mel's focus on northwest Mexico is based on his conviction that this region has the potential to host very large gold, silver and copper deposits that could be discovered by applying modern exploration methods that have not been widely used in the region, particularly in areas obscured by thin pediment cover.



Scott Kelly, VP of Finance

Scott received his Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University in 2001. Upon graduation he worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in the audit services department and is currently working towards obtaining his CGA designation. Scott has 5+ years of professional experience in the mining and exploration industry and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer with two other natural resource companies, in addition to his role with Pediment Exploration.



Chris Babcock, Mine Development

Chris Babcock has 24 years of mining experience including management, development, construction, operation and administration primarily in open pit heap leach gold mines. Seventeen of these years were spent working in Mexico. He has held positions with Castle Gold and Morgain Minerals as President, and with Alamos Gold as Manager of Mexico during the early development of the Mulatos project. Chris was part of the Eldorado Gold team in the early 1990's that put the La Colorada mine into production. He has also held positions with La Teko Resources, Minera Glamis and Grupo MMM.



Alberto Orozco, COO & Geologist, Compañía Minera Pitalla (subsidiary)

Alberto is the Mexico-based Chief Operations Officer of Compañía Minera Pitalla, mexican subsidiary of Pediment, and acts as a liaison between the head office in Canada and the exploration office in Mexico . A native of Hermosillo, Sonora, where Pediment has its offices, Alberto obtained his master in science degree in geology from the University of Sonora , working in conjunction with Saint Mary's University of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

His professional experience includes working for Exploraciones Peñoles in Mexico, and more recently, Linear Gold Corp, where his activities including communication and supervision of the project staff in Mexico , as well as compilation and interpretation of some geological data .



André Audet, Director

André is the Ottawa Ontario based chairman and chief executive officer of Everton Resources Inc., a company exploring for precious and base metals with holdings in the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and near the Virginia Gold's Eleonore discovery in Quebec. Mr. Audet's prior experience includes tenure as vice-president of a major Canadian brokerage house and directorships with several public companies including being one of the founders of Orezone Resources.



Michael H. Halvorson, Director

Mr. Michael H. Halvorson is a financial consultant and President of Halcorp Capital Ltd., a private investment and consulting company since 1980. He was a stock broker from 1967 to 1974, and marketed syndicated real estate from 1974 to 1979. In addition to his directorship with Pediment Exploration Ltd., he is a director of several other public-traded natural resource companies including NovaGold Resources Inc., Strathmore Minerals Corp., Viceroy Exploration Ltd. and Orezone Resources Inc..

Mr. Halvorson has many years of experience in the Exploration Industry and adds tremendous value to Pediment's Board.



Leonard Harris, Director

Leonard Harris is currently on the Board of Directors for Alamos Gold Inc., Aztec Metals Corp., Canarc Resource Corp., Cardero Resource Corp., Castle Gold Corporation, Endeavour Silver Corp., Golden Arrow Resources Corporation, Indico Resources Limited, IMA Exploration Inc., Solitario Exploration & Royalty Corp., and Sulliden Exploration Inc. His experience in the mining industry spans over 50 years across all continents. Mr. Harris has held a number of prominent positions with major gold companies in Latin America and has also chaired industry standards organizations such as the Mining Task Force of the Chamber of the Americas and the International Committee of the SME. Mr. Harris has been honored with a number of awards including the Gold Medal from the Mining & Metallurgical Society of America, the Medal of Merit from the American Hall of Fame and Engineer of the Year award from the Peruvian Society of Engineers.



Chris Theodoropoulos, Director

Chris Theodoropoulos received his civil law degree (BCL) in 1981 and his common law degree (LLB) in 1982, both from McGill University. For the past 23 years he has practised principally in the fields of corporate, securities, mining and commercial law involving publicly traded companies and as a principal of a privately held mining and exploration company. He has acted as chairman of a number of public companies and as vice-president and general counsel of a publicly traded engineering and construction firm. Chris has held a number of directorships in public companies involved in the mining and technology sectors. Currently he is the Chairman of Africo Resources Ltd.



Peter Wong, Director

Peter Wong is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Plutonic Power Corporation, a TSX listed company and a leading developer and builder of renewable and clean energy projects. Mr. Wong also served in a senior management capacity with a number of mineral exploration stage, development stage and production mining companies listed in Canada and in the U.S. over the past 15 years. Prior to that, Mr. Wong articled with the accounting firm, Deloitte and Touche in Vancouver. Mr. Wong is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and holds a B.Comm. from the University of British Columbia (1989).
