Plurilock Granted U.S. Patent for Cutting-Edge Behavioral-Biometric Authentication Technology

Plurilock Security Inc. (TSXV: PLUR) (OTCQB: PLCKF), a prominent AI-driven cybersecurity solutions provider, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving a notice of allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This notice grants a U.S. patent application titled, "Side-Channel Communication Reconciliation of Biometric Timing Data for User Authentication During Remote Desktop Sessions," covering Plurilock's DEFEND technology and its innovative behavioral-biometric authentication capability.

The patent encompasses the application of Plurilock's DEFEND technology within remote and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments. These environments are widely employed by organizations entrusted with safeguarding sensitive or regulated data. Plurilock's behavioral-biometric authentication capability adds an additional layer of security to these settings, enhancing data protection and user authentication processes.

"We are delighted to have received a notice of allowance for one of our U.S. patent applications from the USPTO," stated Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock. "The expansion of our intellectual property portfolio remains a key priority, and we are committed to ongoing innovation in the realm of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions."

In another promising development, Plurilock's wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora Systems Consulting, Inc. ("Aurora"), has secured an extension of its line of credit ("LOC") from Pathward National Association, formerly known as Crestmark and now a division of MetaBank National Association. Effective September 13, 2023, the LOC has been increased from a maximum of US$4 million to an impressive US$7 million. This extension empowers Plurilock and its subsidiary to access additional financial resources, reinforcing their capabilities to support ongoing business growth and development.

These achievements mark Plurilock's continued commitment to advancing cybersecurity technology and its financial readiness to drive innovation in the industry. With this new patent and enhanced financial support, Plurilock is well-positioned to deliver advanced solutions for the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
