Polaris Materials Agrees to Friendly Acquisition by NYSE-listed Vulcan Materials Company

08:28 AM EDT, 08/28/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Polaris Materials (PLS.TO) has agreed to be acquired by Vulcan Materials, producer of construction aggregates listed on the New York Stock Exchange, for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction will be subject to approval by Polaris Materials' securityholders, approval by the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and other customary closing conditions. Subject to obtaining the required approvals, the transaction is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2017.
