Potash North Resource Corporation Shareholders Approve Business Combination With Potash One Inc.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 9, 2009) - Potash North Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PON) ("Potash North") and Potash One Inc. (TSX:KCL) ("Potash One") are pleased to announce that Potash North's shareholders voted over 99% in favour of the previously announced business combination with Potash One at a special meeting of shareholders held today. Assuming final approval is obtained from the British Columbia Supreme Court, the business combination is expected to close on or about April 16, 2009.
