03:26 PM EST, 01/31/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Puma Exploration (PUMA.V) and Trevali Mining (TV.TO) on Thursday released results from the 2018 drilling program at the Murray Brook deposit in New Brunswick.
The companies said it drilled 1,865 meters at the polymetallic site, encountering 535 meters of massive sulphide as while it also saw low-grade gold, copper, silver. lead and zinc in cores as well as higher-grade copper and zinc zones.
"These results demonstrate the huge potential of finding additional resources at the Murray Brook Deposit at depth but more excitingly, located very close to surface along the favourable Caribou horizon," Marcel Robillard, Puma's chief executive, said in a release.
Puma shares were unchanged at $0.035 at last look on the TSX Venture Exchange while Trevali was last seen up $0.01 to $0.37 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
