Our Chief  Technology Officer, who I am proud to have worked with for over 20 years, knows anyone and everyone in the plasma field.  Having said that there is a lot of good plasma work coming out of labs such as the one you refer to.

 We find some of the advantages (cheap electricity) is lost in places like Texas over say, Quebec, where you can get more bang for your buck.  Having said that, and notwithstanding the expense behind doing plasma research we, as a leader in the field, are excited to see plasma is being seen as an interesting arena to do R&D.
