Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to respond and clarify for me on this subject matter.
As you've noted, I absolutely did conflate the two discplines so thank you for clearing this up.

I made the assumpiton that the company was using titanium to print the part/s for the torches hence thought there might be a win win in the qualifying of the powders and 3D printer recently obtained.
