East West Resource Corporation: Platinum-Copper-Nickel Exploration Continues

- Two drill programs ongoing; Seagull and Eva Kitto properties

- Four airborne surveys completed; Trump, Feeder, Magtail and Eva Kitto

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 2, 2008) - East West Resource Corporation ("East West" or "the Company"), (TSX VENTURE:EWR) has over the past eight weeks completed helicopter borne VTEM-Magnetic surveys on four properties in northern Ontario, the Trump, Feeder, Magtail and Eva Kitto, and is currently drilling on two properties, the Seagull and Eva Kitto.

The Trump property consists of 96 claim units (1530 ha) and is located 30 km southeast of the Norton nickel-copper-cobalt deposit. The project is a joint venture with Canadian Orebodies. The 426 km survey detected four conductors worthy of consideration for drilling.

The Feeder property consists of 268 claim units (4212 ha) and the Magtail property 313 claim units (5058 ha) are located 70 km northwest and 68 km north of the Martin Falls First Nation, respectively. The properties are on the perimeter of the Fishtrap and Highbank layered ultramafic intrusions, respectively. The Feeder property was covered by a 521 km survey, and the Magtail property by a 644 km survey. Layered chromite horizons are known to occur in these intrusions and the targets on Feeder and Magtail are sulphide zones within potential feeder dikes to these intrusions. These projects are a joint venture with KWG Resources Inc. Other companies also active in the area include International Nickel Ventures Inc. and Northern Shield Resources Inc.

The Eva Kitto property consists of 197 claim units (3059 ha) situated 15 km southwest of the town of Beardmore and was covered by a 322 km survey at 100m spacings to help delineate troughs at the base of a large 10km diameter intrusion where sulphide zones could accumulate. PGE-Ni-Cu sulphide zones are known to occur on the property. The project is a joint venture with International Bethlehem Mining Corp.
