East West Resource Corporation: Drift Lake Resources Commences Drilling on Rossmere Gold Zones
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 21, 2009) - East West Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:EWR) -

A 300 metre, three hole drill program of has commenced on the Rossmere gold property adjacent to Hwy 11, 90 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. These drill holes will test three distinct Induced Polarization (IP) anomalies that extend westward from the Bandore gold deposit situated on adjoining claims to the east. These IP anomalies are in the vicinity of anomalous gold values contained in soil samples and appear to outline both shear structures and porphyry that are associated with the gold mineralization. Drilling will be completed in three weeks followed by sampling and assaying.

Drift Lake Resources has an option to earn a 50% interest in the 224 claim unit property by expending $300,000 and the right to earn a further 10% by spending a total of $800,000 from East West Resource Corporation and Marshall Lake Mining PLC who presently hold the property on a 50-50 basis.

The drill program is being supervised by Mr. Robert Middleton, P.Eng, Geophysicist, and is the Qualified Person for this project in accordance with regulations under the NI 43-101.
