Of course beyond that cost there's obviously transportation, meals and accomodation as well as any sundry expenses.  I doubt Kenneth would be staying at the Y....probably over $5,000.  

And given recent history I think it wise to check on what the costs would be to cancel....

Upon cancellation of a presentation slot the full presentation fee is applicable and not refundable.

In any case if the company has to cancel for a scheduling conflict, or any other reason...I expect timely and transparent communication of that fact.  Hopefully that's a moot point and we get to hear what the company has to say.
