First big cardio meeting of 2019, and only one happening in Q1 2019 is American College Cardiology (ACC) meeting. The 2019 ACC meeting takes place March 16-18, 2019 in New Orleans, LA. Late-Breaking Clinical Trial (LBCT) Submissions are open Wednesday, Oct. 24 – Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018. Titles and presenters of accepted presentations will be listed in the online program planning tools by the end of January 2019. No guarantees, but still a possibility for Resverlogix and the Clinical Steering Committee to submit BETonMACE for this LBCT session at ACC. If (a big if) this happens, we could get both top-line and full data (presentation and publication) in Q1 2019. If not, top line could still come in Q1 2019 with full data presentation at a conference in Q2 or Q3 2019.

Accepted Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submissions will be presented in the ACC.19 Main Tent during one of five LBCT sessions. Three LBCT sessions will be co-sponsored by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). Each accepted submission will be considered for JACC Rapid Review and publication in JACC, JAMA and NEJM. In addition, each LBCT session will be followed by a press conference with top media outlets.
