I think that's a a bit harsh....it implies that if BETonMACE doesn't hit a home run that it's Mcaffrey's fault.  Have I missed something?  Is DM now a scientiest?  IMO he's done his job in securing the financing required to allow the scientists to prove (or disprove) the science.  

What happens with a failure?  Good luck finding any CEO who'd be able to secure significant funding for a drug candidate if its failed in both Phase 2 and 3....
