One thing that my father, who spent his entire life working in finance both in NYC and Toronto.....one thing he often remarked on in terms of the difference between Americans and Canadians....he considered Canadians to be incredilby risk averse when compared to our American cousins.  He retired during the 90s, so that aspect of our character might have changed some...but I do think it still applies, certainly at the institutional level. Obviously Resverlogix is an incredibly risky and highly speculative investment....and given that we're only listed in Canada doesn't help imo.
