Moderna is a company that has been getting a lot of attention because they target (fix?) messenger RNA.  How they accomplish that is a mystery to me and so wondered if anyone here had any insights that they might share on

- how (MOA) Moderna "fixes" messenger RNA, i.e. do they modulate mRNA while it is "on the fly" as a messenger, and if so how (compared to epigenetic modulation)

- whether we accomplish the same thing but more effectively, practically, and could fairly I say "epigenetic regulation operates "upstream" from where Moderna is focusing and positively impact more pathways simultaneously"

Maybe I am trying to compare apples and oranges?  Does one science seem easier to work with?  Is more practical? or more promising?
