Hiring a world wide sales force with existing routes and clients is far more efficient than biulding it from scratch. Even just doing the BoM2 on our own would not be just a matter of Raising a $100 million and we are off to the races. We have a debenture that needs to be dealt with and 3 years corporate overhead in addition to trial costs. That $100 million just turned into $200 million. If we went to the market today to raise that much we may be adding another half a billion or more shares to the outstanding number. These are just the things that popped into my head in the last couple of seconds and I'm sure there is a bunch more.

IMO a partnership or buyout is the best option for quite a few reasons.
