I still don't quite get the value of the tablet.

Is it more tamper proof?

Capsules are easier to digest.

They can be opened and contents added to feeding tubes more readily, though I guess tablets can be ground up too. Maybe capsules are more prone to dissolving prematurely, or have lower shelf life?
