My second look - appears from reading the article the University will be in competition with businesses.

I would hope they have a department that would study products developed by Alberta pharma’s.  Does not make sense, it takes 7 to 10 years to develop a compound that might become beneficial.  Seems a great waste of public funds during a world crisis.  Will take closer to 600MM, who is dreaming 55.1C can make a dent in discovery.

If Alberta or Canada had a funding process (maybe loan guarantees, grants) and Apabetalone was approved, think of the additional taxes both Alberta and Canada will receive. 

Not to mention the saving Health Canada would receive by fewer indiviudals seeking treatment. I see this as "penny wise pound foolish."

RVX is so close to major markets, the worldwide benefit will be tremendous. 

All we need is four or five patients to leave the hospital early and cured.
