I believe that Pirie was being driven by the analysts to get production up to 100k oz which is what the big funds lkie to see as minimum production. To achieve that they had to get the mill to 2500 TPD and enough development and stopes to produce 2500 TPD underground. Pirie missed the window when the stock was over $4.00 to raise the $200 M Capex they needed to achieve the goals for te analysts and raised $50 M @ $0.50 instead and the funds bailed. It is my opinion that this mine will do quite well if they can get the grade over 5 grams again and produce 1800 TPD which the mill was originally designed to work at. This is a 75-90 K operation and shouldn't have pushed for more in the short term. I will continue to hold it and buy when it drops.
