Message: Great Read on the Gold (lol) in Fiort Knox

Nice find Opieuu.

If the Fort Shocks scenario is true, wouldn't that be equivalent to hawking the Brooklyn Bridge over and over to unsuspecting fools? :) Japan is STILL paying for their mistake in the '80s of buying up inflated American assets, only to have it come crashing down to earth once they were all in. Could China be next? I wouldn't be surprised if there is little or no gold left.

Despite what our esteemed Bank of Canada says, risks such as this should be taken into account when proclaiming the resession is over and the worst is behind us. This has the potential to make all our fiat money worthless!

But the good news is that WE as investors in SMH should be hedged, because if fiat money becomes worthless, gold will take its place and ALL companies involved with gold (mining, smelting, production, etc.) will be in hyper demand.
