The game’s original release date was planned for October 9, 2008. The suggested retail price for the Sword of the Stars: A Murder of Crows expansion is $29.99 / €24.99.

The Sword of the Stars: A Murder of Crows expansion adds a new race, new ship sections, new weapons, new technologies, and other upgrades to enhance the player’s experience and make Sword of the Stars the ultimate 4X space strategy game. Players are required to have either Sword of the Stars: Collector’s Edition or Born of Blood in order to play this new addition to the franchise.
