Sirios Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SOI) is pleased to announce the best assay result yet to date in drill hole #139: 56.4 g/t Au over 8.2 m, including 867.1 g/t Au over 0.5 m from the Jordi Zone on the Cheechoo gold property, Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec. Furthermore, the last fifteen drill holes completed in 2017 (#126 to 140), have all intersected auriferous, multi-decametric intervals from surface down to a vertical depth of more than 250 metres, with gold grades up to 1.4 g/t.
-- Six drill holes (#126, 128, 132, 134, 137, 139) located within the tonalite intrusion have all intersected the Jordi Zone in addition to wide intervals, up to 270m in length along the drill holes, with lower gold grades.
-- Drill hole #132 intersected 11.0 g/t Au over 11.0 m at a vertical depth of 200 m, demonstrating the potential for defining new high-grade zones.
-- Eight drill holes (#127, 130, 131, 133, 135, 136, 138 and 140) aimed to test the tonalite-meta-sediment contact have confirmed the continuity of the auriferous mineralization both laterally and at depth near the contact.
-- Finally, drill hole #129 that was testing the meta-sediments, away from the tonalite contact, assayed 0.9 g/t Au over 15.7 m.

NQ-sized drill holes #126 to 140 totaled 5,136 metres. The significant assay results of these holes are detailed in the table below.

As announced last week, diamond drilling continues on the Cheechoo property with an additional 3,000 metres added to the drilling program in order to complete the systematic coverage of the main gold area, measuring approximately 500 metres by 500 metres, with a 50-metre drill spacing.

Sirios's 100% owned Cheechoo property is located at Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, approximately 800 km north of Montreal, 200 km east of Wemindji and less than 10 km from the Goldcorp's Eleonore gold mine.
Assay quality control
All NQ drill core was described by Sirios personnel at the Cheechoo exploration camp. The drill core was then sent to Rouyn-Noranda to be sawed in half, with one half sent to a commercial laboratory for assaying and other half kept for future reference. A strict QA/QC program was followed by integrating blanks and certified reference standards to the core sample sequence. The samples were assayed for gold by fire assay with an atomic absorption finish by Actlabs in Ste-Germaine-Boule. Samples assaying greater than 2 g/t Au as well as drill core samples with visible gold were assayed by fire assay with metallic sieve based on a 1 kg sample.
