CALGARY, Jan. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - (TSXV: SKP.V - News) (OTCQX: STKXF.PK - News) announces the commencement of the Induced Polarization survey (IP Survey) at our Angelina property located at the east end of the Rice Lake gold belt in Manitoba.

A winter IP program was selected in order to more precisely define the Halfway Lake structures associated with the occurrence of anomalous gold values encountered in drill core as described in our press release of November 29, 2011. The anomalous gold values occur in an area where the volcanic and sedimentary units are characterized by folding into a Z-shaped structure along an axis that strikes northwest with an apparent dextral offset. Gold and silver mineralization is associated with quartz veins that contain pyrite and chalcopyrite in structures that strike southeast, south-southwest and southwest and dip steeply to the east. The veins are 2-10 m in width and are located at the contact between the magnetic gabbro to the east and the andesite and chert-siltstone to the west. These structures and their associated sulphide minerals should respond to the IP geophysical technique.

The IP survey will commence on January 24th. Field operations are expected to take approximately two weeks. It is expected that results should be available in time to launch a winter drill program.
