Tonbridge Power Settles All US Appeals
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 2, 2009) - Tonbridge Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBZ), ("Tonbridge Power" or the "Company"), 100% controlling shareholder of the Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. ("MATL") transmission line project to interconnect the electricity markets of Alberta and the US through a 300 MW transmission line is pleased to announce that it has successfully negotiated the end of all landowner appeals of MATL's Montana Department of Environmental Quality, ("MDEQ"), permit. These appeals, which challenged MATL's MDEQ permit, were filed on November 21, 2008 at the Montana Board of Environmental Review ("BER"), and were the only US appeals involving the MATL project and its US-based permits.

All landowners involved have now formally executed stipulations dismissing their appeals, and the company has subsequently given formal notice to the BER of this undertaking. It is expected that the BER will now enter an order terminating the involved appeal dockets, completing the process.

Tonbridge Power is a Toronto-based developer of electrical transmission assets, whose principal asset is a 100% interest in MATL. Shares of the Company are traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "TBZ".
