As we know, Williams Creek (WCX.V) owns the placer rights, and Barkerville (BGM.V) owns the solid rock mining rights to an overlapping area in the Barkerville area of BC. Historically, placer extraction has produced much more gold than mining in the area. Why show it here? Williams Creek has a JV with Tyhee in the Yellowknife region (Big Sky) and shares top management with Tyhee. There has been previous discussion on this site about the possibility of collaboration, other JV's or even a merger between Tyhee and WCX, but so far Big Sky is the only substantial linkage between the two apart from shared management and large blocks of ownership.
