Last 1085.0 . After the news that India bought half the IMF 400-ton lot the Gold price bumped up about $7 then settled back down and even continued to sell off in New York a couple of dollars. About 10:30 it started going crazy. It jumped about $18 then consolidated for about hour and has now started up again.

Bloomberg sez it's being driven by the India purchase but a 4-hour delayed reaction? Maybe the ETF guys were sleeping in or maybe something else is up here. All this action when the US Dollar is threatening to break out on the upside and trigger a short-covering panic.

We sure do live in interesting times.
