WebTech Wireless Successfully Completes Pilot Phase with Grupo Nacional Provincial
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 6, 2009) - WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading provider of location-based and fleet telematics services, announces that it has received formal notification from Grupo Nacional Provincial S.A.B. (GNP) that it has successfully completed the pilot phase of a joint project that could benefit GNP's more than 1.3 million Mexican automotive policy holders. A third company, WebTrack S.A. de C.V. (WebTrack), has been formed to provide installation, call center and support services to GNP.
These three organizations have successfully collaborated to create and establish the infrastructure necessary to support this initiative with the ability to service all of GNP's personal automotive and fleet policy holders. The product will be aggressively marketed in Mexico under GNP's Angel Naranja (Orange Angel) brand. WebTech has customized its locators and portal to meet specific GNP requirements in this exclusive agreement.
