Westcore Announces Option Grant and Exercise of Agent's Options
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 13, 2009) - WESTCORE ENERGY LTD. (the "Corporation" or "Westcore") (TSX VENTURE:WTR) announces the grant of an aggregate of 200,000 options to acquire common shares in the capital of Westcore at a price of $0.70 to a consultant of Westcore. Such options (and the common shares exercisable upon exercise) are exercisable for a period of 5 years from the date of grant and will be subject to applicable securities law hold periods.
Westcore also announces the exercise of an aggregate of 62,500 agent's options by Union Securities Inc., Westcore's agent under its initial public offering, to purchase 62,500 common shares in the capital of the Corporation. After giving effect to this exercise, a further 62,500 agent's options remain outstanding.
