Xemplar Intersects U3O8 Mineralization Over 52 Metres at Big Yellow

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, February 8, 2010 - Xemplar Energy Corp. (the “Company”) has released chemical assay results for an additional 27 drill holes from the Company's 2009 drill program at the Big Yellow West zone located at its 100-per-cent-owned Warmbad uranium project in Southern Namibia.

Simon Tam, Chief Executive Officer, states: "Big Yellow West is the most advanced of the uranium zones on the Warmbad project. The potential of this zone continues to expand with the current assays over good widths, demonstrating the continuity of uranium mineralization.”

Drilling Update

The 2009 drill program outlined new zones of uranium mineralization and expanded the known zones.

Mike Magrum, P.Eng., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has approved the technical content of this news release.
