i don't know if there's a rule of thumb for dividends. you just want to make sure that they're adequate and that you never have to reduce them. in other words, they should ideally present an optimistic and realistic outlook. something shareholders would love to own.

maybe we could start low and steadily raise them over time? good reliable companies raise dividends fairly often. i really want to see dividends, but we should hire an expert to do it (at least to start).

today, i also asked a broker to look at ZEN with an eye for a NASDAQ listing. he said it looked like a slam dunk to him. we just need a float of 100,000,000. we're at about 86,000,000 right now. he said we could probably have the listing in a month or two if we wanted it. it would be a real feather in ZEN's cap to get on the NASDAQ.
