I agree that the cost of listing isn't prohibitive but it is also nothing. You gave values for listing on the Venture Exchange which is okay if that is what you want. If you are looking for a quick way to unload your shares, that works but is of little interest to institutional investors so the exposure isn't great. I am more interested in exposure as things prove up. A listing on the TSX runs much higher closing toward $1 million. Using the same source as you did for the Venture, the listing fee for the TSX is $200,000 and would be much more except for they have a maximum fee. They list accounting and auditing fees at $$75,000 - $100,000 and Legal fees at $400,000 - $ $750,000. These numbers can be debated but both sets came from the same source so gives you a comparison between TSX and Venture exchanges. There is also an annual fee of about $50,000.

The main point of my post that spurred your reply was that I believe DM had said the listing would come when there was an event substantial enough to drive the listing. My preference would be to wait for that event and then list on a more substantial exchange that can gain some exposure.
