MONTREAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2009) - ZoomMed Inc (TSX VENTURE:ZMD). ZoomMed announces that the Corporation proceeded as of today, to the closing of a purchase offer agreement, as previously announced last May 1st, regarding the sale of all the assets of "ZoomMed Equipment" including its franchise network which operates under the name ZoomCite.
According to this "arms length transaction", the assets of "ZoomMed Equipment", which represent 2,5% of ZoomMed's total assets, were sold to Solutions Bel Age Inc.", previously 70003757 Canada Inc., for $360,000 payable at closing. ZoomMed paid a $34,500 finder's fee to Mergerac Inc.
