Jumbo Flake Graphite
Canada Strategic Metals will be drilling shortly a large 7KM long by 1 KM wide high profile graphite target with potential for large tonnage .
-Average grade of more than 100 samples returned an average grade of 5% to 6% graphite.
-Those samples are coincident with electromagnetic conductor .
-Recent characterization results has reported a large percentage of medium- to jumbo-size graphite flakes. This characterization testing provides a clear indication of the size distribution and liberation of the graphite at La Loutre, which would have a direct effect on the recovery and purity of a graphite concentrate.
Project Highlights
Ø All projects 100% owned in excellent mining jurisdiction of province of Québec
Ø Projects are close to infrastructure
Ø Management team well experimented in green energy market
Ø Rapidly advancing the La Loutre project 7km by 1km and 2km by 1km high profile graphite target has been identified with potential for large tonnage
Ø Sampling results up to 22.04% . Systematic sampling program returned average of 5% to 6% Cg on more than 100 samples.
-Those samples are coincident with electromagnetic conductor
-Drill program of 1500 metres planned for April 2013
Ø Metallurgical characterization results based on a composite of several graphite samples returned (more pending)
% Cg average of composite 5.62% Cg
% greater than 100 mesh 65.75% Cg Medium or greater
% greater than 80 mesh 55.29% Cg Large or greater
% greater than 50 mesh 35.67% Cg Extra large or greater
% greater than 35 mesh 13.24% Cg Jumbo
Ø Company aimed to complete resource calculation and “PEA” (Preliminary Economic Assessment) by year end
