e.DIGITAL FILES PATENT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUITS AGAINST LENOVO, ACER, APACER, SPANSION, GREENLIANT, CACTUS AND OTHERS

Filings Follow Claim Construction Ruling In Mushkin Case

(SAN DIEGO, CA, – January 22, 2015) – e.Digital Corporation (OTCQB: EDIG), a long standing source of innovation and future-defining patented technologies, today announced that it has filed several new patent infringement lawsuits, asserting the Company’s US Patent No. 5,839,108 (“the ’108 patent”). The ’108 patent is an important part of e.Digital’s Flash-R™ patent portfolio and involves a method of memory management for non-volatile memory, such as flash memory.

The Company, along with its law firm, Handal & Associates, filed the new lawsuits following entry of a Claim Construction Order in previous ‘108 cases targeting entities believed to infringe e.Digitial’s ’108 patent.

Among the list of new defendants are Greenliant Systems, Inc., Mouser Electronics, Inc., Apacer Technology, Inc., Apacer Memory America, Inc., Norcomp Incorporated, Lenovo Group Ltd., Lenovo (United States) Inc., Spansion, Inc., Cactus Technologies Ltd., Cactus USA, Harper & Two, Inc., and Acer America Corporation. The new cases follow recent complaints filed by e.Digital against Dropcam and simplicam asserting infringement of e.Digital’s separate portfolio of Nunchi® patents.
