They did resign.  However, when the bankruptcy was dismissed they were automatically reinstated in their former positions by rule.  Also, when the BK was dismissed, the trustee's powers became moot so he has no power to appoint a new CEO and BOD.  IMO, there needs to be a negotiation between someone representing the stock holders and FF and the BOD to move to the next phase.  It is clear that FF and the BOD no longer care to be involved.  One step at a time.
