Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror video game series in which the player takes on the role of a security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a family restaurant and arcade, throughout the night. Warner Bros. has acquired the film rights.

The series began with the release of the first game in the Five Nights at Freddy's game series in 2014. After that, a total of 13 FNAF games were released. There are nine traditional storylines and four spin-offs. Over the course of these 13 games, players have learned a lot about the world outside of the animatronics and surveillance cameras.
