Indeed, there are people on salary.  I seem to recall, however, that JB's salary as CEO was to be in the neighborhood of $125,000 annually long ago, and he may have had a raise, or two since.  However, and to my understanding and belief - not my knowledge - every dollar of that has been deferred to a time when the company can better afford to pay it.  This is unusual in my experience, and laudatory.
