Agreed.  Perhaps he can manage to accomplish something good, and I do truly hope so, but he does have a very off-putting, arrogant manner.  And, criticizing shareholders for asking uncomfortable questions is always bad form.  I have tried to keep an open mind about Mr. Gross, but I have to agree that he is likely not the best person for this job...not that he was ever elected anyway.
