That .20 was short lived... it was never sustained, the price fell pretty fast (within a few weeks) back to the .02-.05 range from whence it began! It didn't matter what metal prices were because the political climate was not conducive to the mining community in America! There weren't very new mines opening up at that time! I don't know of the numbers and I'm too lazy to research it but I'm very doubtful that there were very many new ones opened!
