"...removing any question of access security puts to rest one more potential question that may arise during such discussions..."

Despite Tracy's silly denials- and unfounded accusations of lying- "The lady doth protest too much, methinks".- Here and elsewhere it is pretty clearly stated that the reason for trying to acquire the additional MEPs is to try to secure access. There is no other value to those MEPs that is stated. It would be a pretty silly waste of time and money to obtain them if we already had secure and sufficient access. It follows then, that it is an admission that without the MEPs we don't have sufficient access to our claims.

But what isn't stated is that this is just one more time wasting boondoggle. It is stated that it might take some time to get the MEPs approved. But what hasn't been discussed- is what happens next. If you want access- that doesn't mean just being able to stroll across the land. It means you need to be able to haul equipment, core samples, etc. And so that means you need- a road. Now that in itself will take time and money to build. But there is something even more important- and time consuming. If you want to build a road on state land you need a (dreaded)- permit. And to get a permit you need all the usual insane required studies- environmental and archeological and more. Now you're really talking time and money. So- great plan. But that seems to be the current modus operandi- since we can't manage to get a deal for funding for drilling- fill the time with stupid busywork- like repeating for the umpteenth time the same geological studies at Hay Mountain and keep coming up with new pretend targets to explore- i.e. Red Rock Canyon/Earp Ridge/"Quartz Mountain"/Robbers Roost. Pretty impressive list. Could keep us busy for quite a while. While our real treasure- at Hay Mountain lay fallow.

A better plan- if we were really serious about getting HM drilled- and not just stalling- would be to go back to the private landowners who would have given us access in the first place- had not BG terminally offended them (or him) as some say. It might take bringing in JB to renegotiate and placate the neighbor- but making a deal to gain access through our private neighbor's land would secure access in a much more direct, timely and cost effective fashion. That is- if we are really serious about drilling HM in a timely fashion.
