I find it pretty cool when I run across information about mining company executives who not only have a degree or more in geology but who have also spent the time to earn a degree in business as well - typically a masters degree. This is not uncommon in the mining business because, after all, it is a business. Such people are less likely to make stupid business mistakes.
So, is an RS a stupid mistake? I guess that depends on the intent AND the competence of a CEO who may do it without shareholders' authorization.
